Excellent First Year Production Second Generation Colt Single Action Army Revolver
Manufactured in 1956, the first year production for 2nd generation Colt Single Action Army Revolvers. Standard one line Hartford barrel address, with "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY 38 SPECIAL" on the left side. The left side of the frame has the two line, three patent dates followed by the Rampant Colt. Casehardened frame, polished hammer sides and blue remaining parts. Blade front and frame notch rear sights and fitted with black two-piece checkered plastic grips with the Rampant Colt molded at the tops (left panel numbered to gun, right panel numbered to a different gun). With Colt "wood grain" box renumbered to gun.

Condition: Excellent. The revolver retains 99% plus of the original blue finish and case colors with some scattered mild scratches and a faint cylinder drag line. The grips are also excellent with a few mild handling marks. The checkering is crisp. Box is very good.
