Manufactured circa 1857 to the late 1860s, this Warner Patent revolver is a Second Model, Second Variation chambered for .31 caliber percussion with total production of approximately 9,000. The top strap is marked with the one line address and the cylinder is marked with the 1857 patent date marking. The iron frame with a scroll engraving on the sides, lower section of the back strap, and the area around the hammer with engraved top strap sides. The cylinder features five etched bands. Matching serial number on butt, barrel and both grips.

Condition: Excellent. The revolver retains 90% plus bright original high polish blue finish with the balance a crisp dark patina with some minor scratches on the barrel. The loading lever retains traces of original case colors with the balance a smooth gray patina. The grips are also excellent with almost all of the varnish remaining and some minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
