Excellent Early Smith & Wesson Model 29 Double Action Revolver with Case and Accessories
Manufactured circa 1958-59. The left side of the barrel is marked "SMITH & WESSON", with "44 MAGNUM" on the right side. Ramp front sight with a red insert and target rear sight with white outline. Casehardened serrated trigger and checkered hammer. Fitted with checkered S&W medallion grips. Complete with the very rare original Smith & Wesson black storage box that includes the steel knurled screwdriver, bore mop, a wooden cartridge block and cleaning rod. The top of the lid is marked with the Gold S&W logo with "44 MAGNUM" below.

Condition: Excellent. The revolver retains 99% plus original blue finish with a very slight cylinder drag line and some scattered light scratches. The grips are also excellent with the exception of a couple small hairline cracks on the right panel near the rear of the frame. The checkering is crisp. The case is very fine with some minor handling marks. The interior lid lining panel is detached but included.
