Manufactured in 1959, this is an early Second Generation Single Action Army in nickel finish. One line address on top of the barrel, the left side marked "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45". The left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three patent date marking followed by the un-circled Rampant Colt. The left front of the trigger guard is marked with the Colt "VP" triangle proof, the rear is marked "J" and the right front is marked with a "P". The matching serial number is marked on the frame and under the grip on the left side of the front and back straps. The revolver is fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt in an oval. Complete with the original black hinged lid box numbered to the gun, bore brush, original waxed paper and papers.

Condition: Excellent with 90% original nickel finish with a few areas of spotting on the barrel and cylinder. Flaking on the front strap, heel and butt, with the finish on the back strap frosted. The cylinder shows a faint drag line with a couple areas of slight wear. The markings are sharp. The grips are also excellent with a few very small areas of slight wear with sharp checkering.
