Manufactured in 1959, this is an excellent example of an early Second Generation Single Action Army. One line address on top of the barrel, the left side marked "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45". The left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three patent date marking followed by the un-circled Rampant Colt. The left front of the trigger guard is marked with the Colt "VP" triangle proof, the rear is marked "P" and the right front is marked with a "P". The matching serial number is marked on the frame and under the grip on the left side of the front and back straps. The frame is casehardened and remaining parts are blue with polished hammer sides. The revolver is fitted with smooth two piece walnut grips. Complete with the original black hinged lid box numbered to the gun, bore brush, original waxed paper and papers.

Condition: Excellent with 98% original blue finish with only a few very small areas of minor spotting. The frame retains virtually all original bright and vivid case colors. The cylinder shows only the very slightest drag line. The grips are also excellent with only a couple slight dings on the left grip. Box is excellent.
