Excellent. The derringer retains 98% of the original nickel finish with several very small areas of minor flaking. There are a few small areas where the finish has a "frosted" appearance. The hammer retains 90% of the original bright niter blue finish, while the release lever and screws retain 75% bright nitre blue. The grips are fine with a pleasant hand rubbed patina and a few minor dings and handling marks. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
