Excellent Double Signed Master Engraved Browning Olympian Grade Bolt Action Rifle
Manufactured in Belgium in 1970. This rifle features a blue barrel manufactured without sights, a gold trigger, a polished bolt with desirable long jeweled extractor and the remaining surfaces French gray. The top of the receiver has been factory drilled and tapped for scope mounting. The front receiver ring is engraved with a bugling elk on the left side, a running pronghorn antelope on the right side, with the remainder of the receiver featuring a scroll leaf and punch dot engraving. The floor plate is engraved with a stag in a woodland scene with floral scrollwork below and on the attaching metal. The trigger guard is engraved with a bear. Wedges of scrollwork are featured on the sides of the barrel at the breech and the screw heads and stock bolt are engraved with floral designs. The left side of the receiver is signed "A MARECHAL", the floor plate is signed "AM" (A. Marechal) and the trigger guard is signed "LA". The stock is extra fancy select walnut with a high gloss finish, fine line checkering and floral and punch dot hand carving on the forearm and grip area, contrasting forend and grip cap with a diamond shaped brass inset on the grip cap, raised comb, cheekpiece, Browning plastic buttplate, and sling swivel studs. Complete with manual.
