Excellent DWM Model 1900 Swiss Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol with Rare Unrelieved Frame
This is an excellent example of a Model 1900 Swiss military Luger that was manufactured by DWM and still has the first pattern unrelieved frame which only accepts the flat button follower magazine. The pistol has a rust blue finish with straw colored small parts, niter blue grip screws and checkered walnut grips. The correct flat button unmarked plated magazine has a wooden base with nickel disc inserts. The top of the chamber is marked with the Swiss Cross in sunburst and the toggle link bears the DWM monogram. Swiss Geneva Crosses are stamped on the left side of the barrel and chamber, ahead of the rear sight and on the rear of the frame. The lower safety lever position is bright and un-marked. The full serial number is located on the front of the frame and the underside of the barrel, with matching partial number "22" below the rear sight, magazine release and on the inside of each grip panel.
BBL: 4 3/4 inch round
Stock:
Gauge: 7.65 mm Luger Auto
Finish: blue
Grips: walnut
Serial Number: 122
Condition: Excellent as armory refurbished. The pistol retains 99% of the Swiss armory blue finish with some very minor muzzle wear, some wear on the side of the grip safety from normal usage and a few minor dings on the front strap. Virtually all of the straw color and bright niter blue finish remains on the small components. There are a few minor dings on the bottom of the magazine. With the exception of an area on the upper right front of the grip panel which is dented, the grips are excellent with a few minor handling marks and sharp checkering. Sharp markings and mechanically excellent.
