Excellent Czech M-54 Bolt Action Sniper Rifle
This is a unique example of a post-war Czechoslovakian Sniper rifle. These rifles were introduced in 1954 and were built on a Mosin Nagant 1891/30 action. Production only lasted three years and was halted in 1957. The rifle is fitted with a Yal 2.5x6 scope mounted on a one piece "sweptback" style side rail mount with mis-matched number. The scope is equipped with elevation and windage adjustments and is marked "yal / 2.5x6P / F4402 / crossed sabers". The left side of the barrel directly ahead of the forearm is marked ".3203.92.Rampant Dragon" and the left side of the front receiver ring is marked "she / 57 / G1976 / Rampant Dragon .3203.92.". Hooded front sight and tangent rear sight graduated to 1,200 meters. Mounted with a one piece pistol grip stock with matching handguard with the matching serial number stamped below the sling slot. The matching serial number is marked on most parts. Complete with an original canvas scope cover.

Condition: Excellent. The rifle retains 99% finish with some minor wear on the muzzle and bolt. The stock is also excellent with a few overall minor dents and dings, and retaining 99% original finish. The scope is excellent with clear optics. The cover is good with some fraying and age cracking on the leather straps. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
