Manufactured in 1876. The top of the barrel is marked with the two line address, the under side with the patent marking, the left side "COLT NEW 41" in an etched panel, the left side of the frame below the cylinder is marked "41 CAL" and the matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the barrel, frame under the grip and on the rear face of the cylinder. The cylinder is marked with alternating British "Crown/V" and "Crown/GP" proof marks. Blade front and frame notch rear sights, scarce all blue finish and fitted with smooth varnished rosewood grips.

Condition: Excellent. The revolver retains 95% plus bright original high polish blue finish with some flaking on the muzzle, frame and cylinder, as well as some scattered minor scratches. The grips are also excellent with 98% original varnish remaining, showing some high point wear and a few scattered minor pressure dents and handling marks. The markings and etched panel are excellent. The action is excellent.
