Excellent Colt Model 1903 Semi-Automatic Pocket Pistol
This is an excellent example of a Colt Model 1903 pistol that was manufactured in 1928. The left side of the slide is marked with the standard two block, two line 1897, 1902 patent date and Hartford address with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations. The serial number is marked on the left side of the frame and the right side of the slide is marked with the two line caliber designation. The front upper left side of the trigger guard bow is marked "1" over the triangle "VP" proof with "48" on the opposite. Standard fixed sights, blue barrel with bright muzzle and chamber, casehardened hammer, blue magazine marked "PKT / COLT / 38 CAL" on the bottom and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with "COLT" in a banner at the top and the Rampant Colt in a circle in the middle.

Condition: Excellent. The pistol retains 98% of the original blue finish with some wear on the muzzle end of the slide, some high edge wear and scattered minor dings and scratches. The hammer retains virtually all of the bright original case colors. The grips are also excellent with only light handling marks and sharp checkering. Crisp and clear markings, mechanically excellent.
