Excellent Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammer Semi-Automatic Pistol with Factory Letter
The included Colt factory letter confirms the serial number, caliber, barrel length, and finish, with the type of stocks not listed. The letter states that the pistol was shipped to Honeyman Hardware Company in Portland, Oregon, on July 7, 1920, returned to the factory on 10 March 1921, and then shipped to George Worthington Company in Cleveland, Ohio, on March 23, 1921. The slide has standard fixed sights and is marked with the two block, two line patent dates (1897 and 1902) and Hartford address with a faded Rampant Colt behind the serrations on the left side and the two line caliber marking on the right side. Fitted with black checkered grips featuring "COLT" in a ribbon at the tops and Rampant Colt logos at the centers.
