The slide has later pattern rear serrations with the left side marked with the two line, two block patent dates/address marking with a circled Rampant Colt behind the serrations and the right side has the two line caliber marking. The trigger guard has the Colt trangle proof and the Colt "6" assembler's mark on the left side. Colt high polish commercial blue finish on the slide and frame, niter blue trigger, rear sight screws and other small parts and casehardened hammer. Fitted with checkered hard rubber grips featuring a circled Rampant Colt trademark in the middle and "Colt" in a banner at the top. The magazine has a high polish blue finish and is stamped "CAL. 38/COLT" in two lines on the bottom of the floor plate.
