Excellent Colt Bisley Model Single Action Revolver with Factory Letter
According to the Colt factory records (copy included), this revolver was shipped as a single piece to H.C. Hollander, address unknown on December 1, 1913, and with the exception of the "Not Listed" grips the record confirms the configuration. Fixed sights with the one line Hartford address on top of the barrel and "32 W.C.F." on the left side. Casehardened frame, with the two line, three patent date marking followed by the circled Rampant Colt trademark on the left side and "178" on the loading gate. Matching serial numbers are present on the frame, trigger guard and backstrap. Checkered hard rubber grips with Rampant Colt markings at the top and matching numbers hand cut into the insides.

Condition: Excellent, with 95% plus bright original high polish blue finish, showing some light edge wear, areas of gray patina on the cylinder and grip straps, a few scattered scratches and a small amount of spotting and handling marks. 99% original bright case colors are visible on the frame and hammer, with a bright spot on the left side of the hammer from cycling the action. The grips are as new. Mechanically excellent.
