Manufacturer: Colt Model: Bisley
Manufactured in 1903. The top of the barrel has the one line Hartford address, "(BISLEY MODEL) 32 W.C.F." on the left side and the two line, three patent dates are marked on the left side of the frame followed by the circled Rampant Colt. The matching serial number is marked on the frame, trigger guard and back strap with the assembly number "800" on the loading gate. There is an unrecognizable mark present on right rear trigger guard. Blue finish with casehardened frame and hammer, blade front and frame notch rear sights, and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt in an oval at the top. The accompanying factory letter verifies the caliber, barrel length, blue finish, grips as "Not Listed" and that it was shipped as 1 of 25 to Simmons Hardware Co. St. Louis, Missouri on May 18, 1903. Colt manufactured approximately 44,350 Bisley revolvers from 1894 to 1915.

Condition:
Very fine as factory refurbished. The revolver retains 95% original blue finish with some muzzle and edge wear, a drag line and three light scratches around the cylinder and some minor spotting on the back strap. The frame and hammer retain at least 95% original bright case colors. The grips are very good with some moderate wear on the left panel, and overall a few minor dings and crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
