Carl Sandburg signed edition of ''Lincoln Collector, The Story of the Oliver R. Barrett Lincoln Collection'', published by Harcourt, Brace and Company: New York: 1949. Pulitzer Prize-winner Sandburg signs the limitation page, ''Carl Sandburg'' in black ink. Volume is numbered 942 of 2425, ''...of which all but one hundred copies are for sale...'' Runs 344pp. Measures 6.25'' x 9.75''. Bound in blue cloth boards with brown block print and gilt lettering to spine. Exceptionally well-preserved volume shows a very minor mark to the spine, else fine. With coordinating slipcase showing some surface loss to edges and sunning, else very good. A handsome signed authoritative work on Lincolniana.
