Ex-Stembridge Armory movie prop gun that started its life as a full stocked plains type rifle and was subsequently Stembridge gunsmith modified to fire blank cartridges via an exterior percussion bolster and hammer, .50 cal., 35-1/2” octagon barrel, brown finish, wood stock. This gun is in overall well-used but good condition showing numerous scattered nicks, mars and scratches from years of carry and storage; an old repair to the fore stock about halfway down the barrel; the action is good, the bore may clean to good; older replaced wood ramrod. The type of prop that would have been used in early Westerns and the like. Est.: $600-$1,200.
