First day cover dated 29 May 1978 signed by Sir Edmund Hillary and sherpa Tenzing Norgay honoring their 25th anniversary of first ascending Mount Everest. The cover has an illustration of Mount Everest upon which the climbers signed, a special edition coin, two commemorative stamps and a postmark from Namche Bazar near the original base camp. 8” x 4.5” envelope has a small crease on back flap, otherwise fine.
