European dagger with chiseled steel hilt and grip, Germanic style, of late 16th to mid 17th century. Blade measures approx. 9”, 13-3/4” overall. Blade measures approx. 3/4 across the ricasso. The blade shows some cleaning long ago and some minor" erosion and pinprick pitting. The hilt is very nicely forged and formed with piercing on the grip and is not a cast 19th century copy in our opinion. The hilt is very crisp and shows some darkened aging but generally good overall. The pommel nut shows no evidence of removal and the blade appears genuine to the hilt. A very high quality dagger that appears to be a genuine period piece. Est: $3,500 - $7,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
