The Eureka & Palisade Railroad was a narrow gauge railroad built from 1873-1875 between Palisade and Eureka, NV, about 85 miles. Railroad built to connect Eureka, the center of a rich silver mining area, with Palisade which connected the national railway network. Due to financial concerns and reorganizations railroad became "Eureka and Palisade Railway" and then "Eureka Nevada Railway."
