<B>Eugene O'Neill Signed and Numbered Edition of <I>The Emperor Jones</B></I></B></I> (New York: Boni & Liveright, 1928), 90 pages with eight illustrations by Alexander King, printed paper-covered cloth, 4vo (8" x 10.25"), dust jacket, slipcased, signed on fly "<I>Eugene O'Neil</B></I>" and numbered 570 of 775. A wonderful Art Deco edition of O'Neill's Expressionist play about the corruption of absolute power. Small splits on dust jacket, overall light aging, slipcase heavily chipped with top edge separated. Internally fine with bold signature in blue ink.
