O'Neill's play, about Lazarus of the New Testament, calls for a masked chorus of more than a hundred actors, making it reminiscent of a Greek tragedy. It premiered in 1928. Light toning throughout 179pp. book; moderate toning and chipping to paper backstrip. Significant chipping and tape repair to original slipcase. Overall very good.
