Scottish-born German composer (1864–1932) of operas and much orchestral and piano music. AMQS on an off-white 6.5 x 8 sheet. Three bars in the piano part of his Symphony in F Major, Op 4, called "Moderate Moves. E.” Signed and inscribed under the quote to Mademoiselle Mimi Henschel and dated “February 18, 1891.” In fine condition, with a light overall shade of toning, and a bit of scattered trivial soiling.
