A nice Etruscan Bucchero footed kantharos, Italic, c. 625 - 550 BC, with low pedestal foot, the bowl lightly flared with sharp ridge with incised lines at bottom and two incised grooves just below the rim, two tall loop handles at side. A nice examples with glossy burnished surfaces and scattered mineral deposits. H: 4 3/4 in (12.1cm). Cf. Perkins, Etruscan Bucchero in the British Museum, (London, 2007), p. 41, no. 171 for the type; Ex South German private collection of an artist and art collector, purchased between 1960 to 1980.
