Probably 18th Century calf, gt. dec. spines in compartments lacking some leather, but bands still strong. Earl of Harrington bookplate. An important work, more definitive than the 1531 first edition. In spite of the thickness and weight of these volumes they are remarkably tight and clean.<P> [Adams 1820].
