Gene Wensel Collection (Brothers of the Bow). Given to Gene by Fred Bear (Bear Archery). Gene met Fred in September of 1968 in a bar/restaurant in downtown Minneapolis on the top floor. Gene's brother recognized FredBear sitting at a different table. He was there with his family. Fred invited them to sit down and have dinner with them. Gene was getting married in December and sent Fred Bear a wedding invitation, and received aletter back from his wife, saying that Fred couldn't make the wedding because he was on a big hunting trip in Greenland for musk ox, but gifted him the bear as a wedding gift. It was made by an Inuit out of walrus ivory and given to Gene and Donna for their wedding. A phenomenal piece of Archery History.
