This is an excellent Eskimo Inuit Native American Indian carved walrus ivory cane showing two Leopard Seal effigy faces. The cane dates to early 1900 and is truly a rare early piece from the Eskimo Inuit Indigenous peoples. The cane shows a turned wood staff which is topped with a nice Walrus tusk ivory carved handle having growling leopard seals at opposing sides showing a nice red and black scrimshaw artwork. The top of the cane shows a rounded pommel. The piece shows fine craftsmanship and quality. Measures overall 37.5"L with the handle top being 2 7/8"L x 1.75"W x 1.25"D.
