This is a wonerfully carved solid Walrus Ivory tusk figure done by an Alaskan Eskimo Inuit Native American Indian, Harry Ningeslak. The piece shows an Eskimo hunter wearing a heavy winter coat standing atop a walrus figure showing both tusks. The bottom is signed "Harry Ningeslak SHH." The piece is from circa early 1900 taken by the Eskimo in Alaska legally. Rare piece showing overall good condition and fine craftsmanship. Measures 4 1/8"H x 1.25"D x 1.5"W.
