Errors 1943-s Lincoln Cent. 1943-S Struck on a Type 1 Dime Planchet. NGC graded About Uncirculated 53. <b>Minor wear on Lincoln's beard and hair; highly lustrous still in the fields and devices. Wartime cent errors are among the most sought after for obvious reasons, with the famous bronze cents of 1943 and steel cents of 1944 high on the list. This well made 1943-S was struck on a 90% silver blank meant for a Mercury Dime.
