DS, five onionskin pages, 8.5 x 11, August 7, 1953. Loan agreement for the unfinished film ‘The Story of William Tell.’ The contract is between Errol Flynn and Chesapeake Industries in order to secure a loan for The Story of William Tell. Many guarantees are made by Flynn in order to secure the loans for the movie, including, in part, "If for any reason or contingency the Producer shall abandon production of…any photoplay as to which you shall make any loan…I shall assume all responsibility for completion of any such photoplay and, at my own cost and expense, will cause such photoplay to be fully completed …" As collateral for the loan, Flynn uses his agreed to profits from two upcoming films, an original Van Gogh and an original Gauguin. In very good condition, with scattered creasing and wrinkling, staple to top left corner, first page detached, and some scattered toning.
