Legendary film director (1892–1947) best known for his sophisticated comedies and the fabled ‘Lubitsch touch.’ DS, six pages, 8.5 x 11, January 14, 1938. Agreement between Lubitsch and Paramount Pictures in which he transfers the rights of “a certain story entitled Two Debutantes, which is wholly original.” Crisply signed at the conclusion by Lubitsch and two Paramount executives. Also includes two notarized witness statements. In fine condition, with expected document wear.
