Quirkily brilliant entertainer (1919–1962) whose freewheeling sense of humor and sense of visual style made him one of the most distinctive personalities in the early days of television. He died in an auto crash while driving the notoriously “unsafe at any speed” Chevrolet Corvair. Vintage glossy 5.5 x 3.5 promotional postcard photo for WCBS-TV’s Kovacs Unlimited, signed in black ink by Kovacs, and also signed in various color ink by cast members Edie Adams, Eddie Hatrak, Triggie Lund, and Andy McKay. In very good condition, with central moderate horizontal crease, other scattered creases and surface impressions, and some light silvering to image.
