Handwritten and signed class notes, mostly in pencil, on both sides of an 8.5 x 11 sheet of lined notebook paper, signed in the top border on one side in blue ballpoint, “Ernie Davis,” and dated at the top, “2/10/59.” Notes appear to be for an English or Literature class, with Davis writing, in part: “First exam 2 weeks from today…What houseman poetry note…Definition of lyric.” Rough left edge, and some scattered light toning, otherwise fine condition.
