Ernest Seton-Thompson: Twice Inscribed and Signed Lives of the Hunted (New York: Charles Scribner’s Sons, 1901), first edition, 361 pages, illustrated, brown-cloth binding with gold lettering and decorations and dark-brown illustrations, 8vo (8” x 5.75”). Born in County Durham, England, to Scottish parents, Ernest Evan Thompson (1860-1946) used the pen names Ernest Thompson Seton and Ernest Seton-Thompson. He inscribed and signed this volume twice, as “Ernest Thompson Seton”, on the front endpaper and the dedication page, which he dated March 20, 1937. His signatures are accompanied by his trademark, the sketch of an animal paw. The book is in good condition with minor wear; the front cover is beginning to separate from the binding.

Shipping: Books & Catalogs (view shipping information)
