<B>Ernest Hemingway Personal Bookplate.</B></I> Reads: <I>EX LIBRIS ERNEST HEMINGWAY.</B></I> Featuring an idyllic cabin scene at top and a picador engaged in a bullfight at bottom, the plate is printed on thin card stock, with all printing on the card in deep blue. Bookplate measures approx. 4.5" x 6.25" and is encased in a custom-bound full leather slipcase, with banded leather on spine and the words: <I>Ernest Hemingway's Book Plate,</B></I> in gilt. Bookplate is in about very good condition, with one very small tear on the left side and a fold in the upper left corner. Rare piece of ephemera, essential to any serious Hemingway collector.
