German military officer (1865–1937) who commanded German forces during World War I and was an early supporter of Hitler and participant in the Beer Hall Putsch. Vintage matte-finish 8 x 5.75 photo of Ludendorff in his office, signed in fountain pen, “Ludendorff.” In very good condition, with scattered creases and soiling, silvering to dark areas of the image, and lightly trimmed edges.
