The present painting is a work by the German artist Erich Graf and dates back to the time around 2000. It depicts the head of a bison which appears astonishingly true to nature and proves the artist’s impressive naturalistic style. The animal is located in a wide prairie landscape which corresponds to its natural living environment.
The painting is in very good condition. The work is signed lower left ‘Graf E’. The frame is also in very good condition with only minimal traces of wear. It measures 91 x 79.5 cm. The hardboard measures 82 x 69 cm. (cbo)
