American actor (1925–1966), best known as the trail boss Gil Favor on the popular TV series Rawhide, who drowned at the age of 42 while filming a television pilot in Peru. Ballpoint signature, “For Harry from your friend—Eric Fleming,” on an off-white 5.25 x 4.25 album page. Also signed by Peter Potter at the bottom of the page. Vertical crease along the left side affecting part of his inscription, wrinkling, a couple tiny tears at the top border with a strip of toning, and show-through from the signature of actor Craig Hill on the reverse, otherwise fine condition.
