lot of 5. Price list flyer, 5.5 x 8.5", 1888-89, E.F. Wilt, Byron, IL. The first page notes that Mr. Wilt had just purchased the business of George Fox, and was inviting potential customers to visit the business to see his stock and quality. Flyer for R. T. Frazier's Saddlery in Pueblo, CO, 3.25 x 6", n.d., but likely turn of century. Frazier lists discounts for 22 general categories of his goods, to accompany catalogue No. 11. His catalogue No. 15 seems to date from 1914, so this addendum probably dates from just after the turn of the century. Frazier was a well-known saddle maker, the largest by 1917. Billhead from L.D. Stone & Co., San Francisco, 1903. Account for Mr. J. C. Young. Verso has 4 "Gilham's saddles" with prices and variations available. Catalogue of S.D. Myres Saddle Co., El Paso, TX, 8vo on pink-tinted paper, 16pp, illustrated wraps. N.d., but front has (1888 - 1934). Myres emphasized that he carried military holsters and belts, including officers' equipment. And catalogue No. 14 for A. H. Hess, Houston, TX, n.d. 8vo, 68pp, printed paper wraps, embossed to resemble alligator hide. Illustrated with photographs.

The Thomas Minckler Collection of Western Americana
