Ensemble belonging to legendary western lawman Wyatt Earp of Tombstone fame, consisting of: Black vest, silver colored watch, carved bone pipe, .32 caliber Smith & Wesson pocket pistol, stamped W. S. Earp onright side of frame, in shadow box display as exhibited in Harold’s Club gun collection for nearly 60 years. An October 16th, 1929 letter addressed to Mr. Charles Welsh (misspelled) on the stationary of Geo.Collins Norman states ‘The following items were given to me by Josephine Earp via Wm. J. Hunsaker, Esq.’, itemizes the four items, and in summary mentions the fact that Collins was friends with Josephine Earp when theyworked together for the English Opera Company and also was a close friend of Wyatt. He gifts the items to Welsh and states that he was travelling too much to keep them. The letter is signed George Collins Norman. Mr.Charles Welsh of Blythe, CA was a close friend of Wyatt Earp’s and a pall bearer at his funeral. Wm. J.
