<B>Enrico Caruso Elaborately Illustrated Menu Signed.</B></I> A beautiful green gravure print by T. Sindelar, 16.25" x 10.75", New York, February 5, 1916. This gorgeous menu was for a dinner, honoring Enrico Caruso, by the Lotos Club. It pictures a group of Caruso images in several of his leading roles at the Metropolitan Opera, where he was the leading male singer for a number of years. The Lotos Club was founded in 1870 as a literary club, and numbered Mark Twain among its members. They were located at 110 West 57th St. at the time of this menu, and they often held special dinners to honor the elite among artists and newsmakers. Caruso was certainly that; he was one of the greatest tenors of all time and one of the top recording stars of the first part of the 20th century singing at the greatest opera houses in the world, including the Met. He has signed this art print/menu exquisitely at the lower right corner. The item is in pristine condition and is matted in dark green silk with gold fillets and framed in a sensational gold frame with dark green trim and embellishments. This is absolutely the most stunning Caruso autograph we have ever seen.
