An incredible example of Staffordshire.

We offer an incredible late 18th century or early 19th figurine with the Enoch Wood palette. It portrays a young girl sitting on a stump holding fruits in her lap and with a multicoloured bird sitting on her wrist.
It is an impressive piece taht has survived the past two centuries with little wear. It does, as many staffordshire pieces, suffer from a firing imperfection, which occurred at the time of firing and which is visible between the girl's knees in her skirt. The only other imperfection that we could detect was a possible repair to one of the the wings of the bird.
