Original engraving stamped on the back: "Vecchio Mulino, dipinto ad olio (proprieta Ing. Piero Puricelli)." Piero Puricelli was an Italian engineer best known for conceiving and building the Milano-Laghi freeway, Europe's first limited-access super highway (no pedestrians, horse driven carts, bicycles, etc. allowed) in the 1920's, shortly after World War I. The paper has a large watermark with the word 'Roma' under the city's symbol of a she-wolf and its cubs. Additional photos available upon request.
