Engraved and gold washed Remington Smoot spur trigger revolver, .30 cal., 2-3/4” barrel, pearl grips, #282. This gun is in overall very good untouched condition and the way collectors love to find antique revolvers; the engraving is period and the coverage is extensive on the frame, barrel assembly, cylinder and even on the hammer; the gold wash remains on approx. 45% of the weapon with the balance gone to a dark patina; the action is crisp, the markings clear and the bore good. The thick iridescent pearl grips are very good overall and compliment this gun greatly. Est.: $1,000-$2,000.
