Manufactured in 1902. Fixed front and pinched frame rear sights. The barrel is floral scroll with punch dot background and floral pattern engraved and marked with the single line Colt Hartford address in the top and "(BISLEY MODEL) 45 COLT" on the left side. Patterned rings at the muzzle and breech end. The ejector housing has a leaf pattern on the top with floral scroll patterns at each end. The frame, recoil shield, loading gate, trigger guard and back strap have almost full coverage relief floral scroll and leaf pattern engraving with punch dot backgrounds. The cylinder is floral scroll engraved with a leaf pattern ring at the rear. The left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three patent dates followed by the circled Rampant Colt. Matching serial numbers on the frame, trigger guard, and back strap. The assembly number "384" is on the loading gate. Fitted with smooth pearl grips and accompanied by a Colt factory letter that is one number away from this revolver, indicating that it could possibly have been in the same shipment to Simmons Hardware Company, St Louis, Missouri on Dec 15, 1902.

Condition: Very fine as professionally embellished with some marks from handling and storage. Almost all of the silver remains and has darkened with age in areas and shows some discoloration on the frame ahead of the cylinder.The engraving remains sharp. The grips are very fine with faint marks from handling and storage with the left grip showing faint yellow from age at the heel. Mechanically excellent.
