Engraved Remington Model 1875 Single Action Army revolver, .44 cal., 7-1/2” round barrel, nickel finish, wood grips, lanyard ring, #228. This gun is in overall very good to fine condition showing extensive scrollengraving over the frame, cylinder, barrel, ejector housing, trigger guard and backstrap; crisp action, sharp markings, very good bore; grips are also very good with some old mars and scratches from storage. The Model1875 was also known as the Improved Army or Frontier Army and was Remington’s attempt at competing with Colt’s Single Action Army; made between 1875-1889. Est.: $3,500-$7,000.
