<B>Engraved Portrait of General Joseph Reed of PA,</B></I> 7.75" x 9", published May 15, 1783 by R. Wilkinson, London, likely removed from a book, toned with a small stain not affecting portrait, else near fine. The caption reads "Member of Congress, President & Commander in chief of the State of Pennsylvania". In fact Reed was a signer of the Articles of Confederation and was a delegate to the Continental Congress.
