Manufactured by Ludwig Borovnik of Ferlach. There are 13 companies making guns in the city of Ferlach, which is located in a remote corner of Southern Austria. The Ferlach area companies make guns that are among the world's most beautiful and finest. These companies are family groupings, many have been making guns for centuries. It features a double brass bead sights on the matte vent rib marked "EXKLUSIV JAGER-MATTHEWS & BOUCHER, INC., ROCHESTER, N.Y." The bottom of the left barrel is marked "EXKLUSIV JAGER-MADE BY" and "LUDWIG BOROVNIK-FERLACH AUSTRIA" on the right. Each barrel is also marked "BOHLER RASART" and "12/76", as well as the matching serial number. The breech end of the barrels is decorated with a 2 inch wedge of floral scroll engraving and two gold inlaid bands. The frame, side plates, break lever, trigger guard and forearm hardware are engraved with nice floral scroll designs. Removable side plates, cocking indicators, Greener cross bolt, single trigger, tang mounted manual safety with gold "S" and mounted with a nicely figured checkered English walnut semi-beavertail forearm and straight grip stock with a checkered bare butt. 3 inch chambers, choked full/full with ejectors. Length of pull is 14 3/8 inches. Comes with a Browning hard takedown case. This shotgun is consecutively serial numbered to the next lot.

Excellent. The shotgun retains 99% plus original blue and casehardened finish with only light handling/storage marks. The stock is also excellent with a couple light pressure dents and sharp checkering. Sharp markings and engraving.
