Very good as period refurbished. The barrels have been rebrowned and retain 98% brown finish and showing almost all of the Damascus pattern. The remaining metal surfaces have a smooth silver patina with strong blue finish on the inside of the trigger guard and traces on the break lever. The wood is very good as refinished with a few minor dings and handling marks, and crisp checkering. The forward top comb has had a piece of horn inset. The engraving and markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically fine. The case is very good with some scuffs and scratches on the exterior. The leather straps show heavy wear and flex cracking. The lining is very good plus.
