Very fine, the barrels and trigger guard retain 95% of the slightly faded original blue finish with some scattered minor wear and a few light scratches. The casehardened components retain 60% of the original faded original case colors with some of the protected areas retaining a brighter appearance. There are some patches of discoloration on the lock plates. The original forearm is very good with some scattered light scratches, an absent sliver from the right front, a long crack on the right top and some wear on the checkering. The buttstock is very good with a tight hairline crack behind the left lock plate, a repaired crack on the lower right side of the stock head, a filler repair on the lower right side, some scattered scratches, some dings and a period recoil pad that has gone stiff. Mechanically excellent.
